About Steeping Out
Steeping Out's visitors are people that are curious about tea and tea drinking. They might have only ordered an iced tea at a restaurant or they may be power tea drinkers. Steeping Out hopes to help them by providing them tips and tricks to enjoy tea prep and the different flavors. Most of it is about me, Kristofor, sharing my experiences as I drink tea like it's going out of style.
About Kristofor
Armed with a graphic arts background, Kristofor primarily works as a Creative for Apple, Inc. in the Des Moines area. He can also be found working on ad hoc freelance projects. Kristofor started to get into tea back in 2006 but has decided that 2009 would be the year where he would really discover the world of tea and share what he learns with anyone that cares to listen/read. The idea of this weblog comes from visiting Gong Fu Tea, a local tea shop. The shop had a large wall devoted to over 130 varieties of loose-leaf teas and herbals. Kristofor was overwhelmed by the selection of tea and decided that it might be best to start some type of record keeping to document his journey of trying most of these teas.
